Services Provided

MANA provides a variety of support services for people living with HIV/AIDS.  All services are confidential and provided free of charge.  These services include:  

  • Medical Case Management
    • Ryan White Medical Case Management is available Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:00, by appointment only
  • Support Groups
    • Thursday Women's Group is held at MANA from 12:00pm - 1:00pm
    • Weekly HIV Support/Life Issues Group Friday, 10:30am - 11:30am, held at Luther Hall in Emanuel Lutheran Church
    • Monthly Evening Medicine Adherence Group held the 3rd Wednesday of the month (dinner included)
  • Individual Therapy
    • Individual Therapy is available weekly on Thursday and Friday by appointment
  • HIV Testing and Prevention
    • HIV Testing and Prevention is available through the Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective by Bill Petrosky (860) 278-4163, extension 11.   Testing may be conducted either at MANA or at the HG&LHC, depending on client preference, however, an appoint is required
  • Transportation
    • Transportation is provided by Latino Community Services (860) 296-6400, however, must be coordinated through your case manager
  • Client Specific Services
    • Lunch on Thursday and Friday from 11:30am - 12:00pm
    • Bingo the 1st and 4th Friday of every month from 12:15pm - 1:00pm
    • Food Pantry distributed the 3rd week of every month from 9:00am - 3:00pm
    • Weekly acupuncture for relapse prevention every Thursday from 11:45am - 2:15pm
    • Education Series - A ten week series from June through September (Replaces Friday Life Issues Group During the Series)
    • Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Dinner, held annually in October
